Wonderful

Amazing spa & lazy river. Very comfortable rooms & no trouble to get extra pillows when needed. Fab location with friendly staff.

Loungers around the pool are rather uncomfortable. We ended up getting the Bali beds instead, which were great. Water polo is held over one end of the lazy river, which seems a bit bizarre when there are other places it could be held that wouldn’t render the circuit unusable whilst it is in session for us lazy people who just want to float around in a loop. Hoping there will soon be an upgrade to the room TVs to allow device connectivity! ????

Great stay and highly recommended hotel.

Great location and an excellently maintained hotel. Staff were just great and the quality of the buffet food was outstanding. Spa was by far the bluest I’ve been to and the pool was clean and warm. Amazing infinity pool view.

We went in August and it was busy. It didn’t feel like they had managed the sun beds at busy times. Also, there was always evening entertainment, which sometimes was loud, every night. It would have been good to have some chill out music, it not a band playing.

We enjoyed our stay

Very nice, we enjoyed. We booked the room with a poll just in front but in the calmer area so it was good for us. Buffet is good Pools are great.

If you love smaller hotels that maybe this is not the right fit for you.

Stunning main pool with beautiful gardens at superb location in Meloneras

- best location near the beach, restaurants and shops - beautiful gardens - stunning main infinity pool

- cat like sand around main pool area was uncomfortable to walk on - hotel should manage the issue with people reserving pool sun chairs by placing their towels but not using them for long times (ie - before going to breakfast etc.), not enough sun chairs available in general - half board restaurant: arrangement of food stalls should be organised differently to manage crowds better - payment system with arm chip leads to errors as employees do not properly check/validate, staff does not seem to care - main pool bar service could be enhanced, long waiting times with no service, people actually sat waiting for service being ignored and left again - it appears that there were a lot of trainees working in the main restaurant, sometimes we had to remove our own dishes - booking service via hotel app does not work, we were a group of 8 and everytime had to wait for a table to be ready eventhough we booked in advance, clearly the booking only serves the purpose of meal calculations

I have stayed here twice now, once at Christmas 2022 and the other in Aug 2024, both stays have been amazing !

Very clean and spacious with everything within the vicinity. Great restaurants outside the hotel too, and fantastic cafe in the hotel that sells good vegan options.

Too many people try to put towels and personal belongings on sunbeds. Despite the hotel having a policy to remove people’s towels it can be a bit awkward at times when you turn out to the sunbed when someone’s personal belongings are still there.

Cleanliness, location, the Kabuki restaurant, the gym

Breakfast was too crowded, and people would “reserve” sunbeds by putting their towels on it, so it was hard to find available sunbeds. The Italian restaurant wasn’t good.

Relaxing winter vacation

Very nice gardens, pools and relaxation areas. The infinity pool is outstanding.

There were some very small ants in the room, which came back every day after cleaning. But they didn’t bother much.

A very enjoyable and relaxing holiday for us both.

Beautiful, modern design, extremely well maintained, cleaned, managed. Excellent swimming pools. Wonderful choice of fresh, delicious food.

Our stay was almost perfect.

Our room was excellent in quiet location with views over garden and small pools. We enjoyed sitting in the gardens with various areas in which to relax. The staff were very attentive.

The English food in the Gastro Alameda was lacking in choice and due to the length of the servery and the number of other guests trying to chose a meal, it became quite a challenge to select a meal. We were unable to dine in another restaurant and pay more, due to the tariff we were on. A great pity there was not more flexibility.

Absolutely everything from the friendly and helpful welcome, the professionalism from A-Z, the selection og pools, restaurants, decks, bars, redtsutants, the view, the gym, - we already crave a trip back

The only think I can think of is A slightly hectic breakfast Logistic, but thats just a minor thing

Lovely stay with a few critiques that can easily be corrected!

The hotel its self is beautiful and presented well. Room was very clean, spacious and bright. The maids were excellent I left them a little tip each day and they got better and better which was well received! The food is good when you’re able to get a table. The upkeep of the outside areas are immaculate and was a very comfortable stay.

Few critiques but wouldn’t put me off returning. Firstly the reception and the staff there - 1 in 5 I would say was friendly the rest are quite cold and rude. They do not give off a feeling of wanting to assist you, also I had problems with getting hold Of reception via telephone. I rang reception multiple Times about a query I had and one time I had the phone ringing off 25 minutes with no one picking the phone up!! Also the hotel is beautiful as I said but I’d say almost 70% of the sun beds are in shade for the period of the day and all the ones that are in the sun have got towels on them from the crack of dawn! Despite signs up saying staff will remove towels if beds are unattended they certainly do not! Lastly, it’s impossible to get anything to eat anywhere in the hotel between 11-1pm not even a sandwich be made. Little annoyances that wouldn’t put me off coming back especially if they fixed these issues!
